June 2026: What's New With Us, New Tunes, CD Bundle Giveaway | Howdy Music Lovers -
We hope this finds y'all doing well in spite of the crazy times we're currently living through.
As usual, we've been keeping ourselves busy with various projects. In addition to the music we make here at home, Penny has her hands in a variety of things including ongoing viola da gamba performances (local folks: you can see upcoming events here). Additionally, she's been teaching music classes at Cabrillo Stroke and Disability Center and serving on the board of directors for the Santa Cruz Chamber Players.
While Penny's been doing all that other stuff, Slim's been digging through the archives and has unearthed and resurrected "Buenos Dias America", a gem of a tune that Penny wrote back in 1985 (more on that below).

"Buenos Dias America" | | Buenos Dias America is one of many songs written by Penny in the mid-1980s. While going through old recordings, we found a bare bones demo recording of this song and we loved the original vocal. So we extracted the vocal from the demo and have filled it out with new instrumental tracks. Since this was written, treatment of our immigrants has only gotten worse, making Penny's poignant 1985 lyric as relevant as ever. It's up on our website where you can listen, download, or watch the lyric video. It will also appear on the streaming services soon. On our website: Buenos Dias America

CD Bundle Giveaway Do you still enjoy playing CDs, perhaps in your old car, on an old computer, or an old stereo system?
We do, but we're a dying breed. And like so many musical artists, the streaming revolution has left us with a large inventory of our own unsold CDs and DVDs.
